Barcelona, Spain, June 2 2026 Zynap, the preemptive security automation platform for MSSPs and enterprise security teams, today announced the appointment of Miguel Carrero to its Board of Directors.

Miguel is currently VP of Partner Ecosystem Growth at WatchGuard, where he has spent five years leading their MSSP business before expanding into global partner ecosystem growth. Prior to WatchGuard, he served as CRO at Siemplify, a SOAR platform acquired by Google, and spent a decade leading product for ArcSight at HPE, a pioneering SIEM platform. His career spans Silicon Valley and Spain, across the enterprise and MSSP markets.

The appointment comes as Zynap continues to grow its team, expand its footprint across enterprise and MSSP markets, and advance its product roadmap. It follows Gartner naming preemptive cybersecurity a top strategic technology trend for 2026, projecting it will account for 50% of IT security spending by 2030, up from less than 5% in 2024.
