Zynap secures €6m in an extension of its Seed round as Kibo Ventures and Kfund increase their investment
  • Funding brings Zynap’s total capital raised to €12 million

  • Existing investors Kibo Ventures and Kfund reinforce their commitment with additional investment

  • Investment supports product development ahead of planned Series A in 2026

  • International expansion into the United States, Europe and Latin America

Barcelona, Spain, December 10 2025 — Zynap, the Barcelona-based company specialized in AI-based preventive cybersecurity, today announced it has secured €6 million in a Seed funding round. The round was led by existing investors Kibo Ventures and Kfund, who have increased their investment following the company’s progress over the past year. This brings Zynap’s total funding to €12 million.

This new capital injection, structured as a 100% equity investment, comes after a period in which the product has been tested under “real fire” with top-tier clients. During this time, the customer base has grown significantly, validating the strong need these organizations have for next-generation tools for preventive cybersecurity.

The funding will support the next phase of Zynap’s product roadmap, including advances in automated analysis, AI-driven threat models and tools that enhance day-to-day security operations. It will also contribute to the expansion of the engineering and commercial teams and strengthen the company’s work with enterprise clients and managed security partners as it prepares for broader international expansion and a Series A in 2026.

“As artificial intelligence reshapes the threat landscape, being the fastest is no longer enough. Reactive cybersecurity has reached its limits, and organizations need a preemptive model that can anticipate attacks. That is why we built this product to outsmart the cybercrime industry. And the response from the market shows that this shift is already happening,” said Daniel Solis, CEO and Co-Founder of Zynap. “We’re grateful for the continued confidence of our investors. This funding allows us to accelerate our roadmap and enter new markets with real momentum.”

Investors emphasized their confidence in Zynap’s progress and long-term direction.

“This Seed round reflects our decision to double down on Zynap’s vision, execution and its great team,” said Juan L. Santamaría, Partner at Kibo Ventures. “The team has shown very solid progress. It’s clear that large and mid-sized companies are demanding a preventive and automated cybersecurity approach like the agentic software that Zynap provides.”

“We have supported Zynap from its early stages and continue to believe strongly in the company’s direction,” added Miguel Arias, Partner at Kfund. “Their disciplined execution and product evolution reinforce our confidence as they move toward their next milestones.”

With this round, Zynap reinforces its position within Spain’s cybersecurity ecosystem and continues expanding its work with enterprise clients and managed security providers. The company will now focus on advancing its platform and deepening its international strategy ahead of its planned Series A.
